ask for what you want.

As of late, I have been trying to solidify some good goals that I'd like to accomplish this year -- working hard to make sure 2014 is epic.  And in the quest of an amazing year, I've come to some important insights.

Sometimes, out of fear of being disappointed, I don't give myself permission to strive for exactly what I want.  To clarify, if my real goal seems "too lofty", I can settle for goals that seems more attainable and less intimidating.   Well friends, I have decided that I don't want to do that anymore.  When someone asks you what you want, you should feel empowered to answer that question honestly and confidently.  More importantly, you should extend that same power to yourself.

So moving forward, I am challenging myself and anyone who this resonates with, to be ok with lofty goals and uncomfortably big dreams.  Choose to not be the roadblock for your own happiness, but the catalyst for amazing successes.

And with that, I am done.  Thanks for reading,
