Women's March LA

A few days ago, I peacefully marched with 750,000 people in Downtown Los Angeles advocating for equality for all women.  I am not able to fully articulate how impactful this day was, but I do know that I am so grateful to been able to participate.  I wrote this on my Instagram and it rings just as true today --

" I am baffled by the fact that in 2017 there is still confusion about the value, contribution, and overall epic-ness of WOMEN. So today and everyday, I will proclaim that women absolutely matter. Black Lives Matter. Queer Lives Matter. Indigenous People's Lives Matter. Trans Lives Matter. If a human being is made to feel inferior, less-than, or marginalized -- your life matters, simply because you are. Today made me so proud and I'm so grateful to have taken part.#womensmarch #whyimarch "

Friends, I hope that we will continue to understand the power we hold when we come together.  I am so glad to have participated in a life-changing march and I hope that this is just the beginning of global change.  I can't wait for the day that human equity isn't debated, but the norm.

Much love :)
